This forum will focus on the Big Data Revolution and the Impact on the Business Travel space. After “Traveler Centricity”, “Big Data” is the second most used buzz word in the business travel industry these days, thus it deserved BATM’s attention.
The majority of managed travel professionals are just starting to get to grips with the data available from TMCs, payment providers and suppliers and how to utilize that information to improve their travel programs.
It is still uncertain as to how Big Data could be used by managed travel professionals hence, it’s time to start rethinking how we use the data we have today and the potential for Big Data initiatives to create added value to their travel programs.
