BT4Europe will keep us informed on a regular basis of what is being discussed at the European Commission.
This European Commission initiative aims to set out a common, though voluntary, framework for calculating and reporting transport-related greenhouse gas emissions by both the passenger and freight sector.
To incentivise service providers to monitor and reduce their emissions and improve the efficiency of their transport services and to enable users to choose the most sustainable option.
Commission adoption expected during the second half of 2023
